The Bruins and Blackhawks 2019 Winter Classic jerseys will be officially unveiled on November 8th... but thanks to Icethetics we all get to see the designs early!
They both are inspired by jerseys from each franchise's early history but are not exactly the same. Have a look!
The Blackhawks jersey is inspired by their inaugural uniforms (see below) back when their colours were just black and white. The logo has been adjusted to be more consistent with their current brand and the striping has been modernized (and sadly we can tell you, after much deliberation they decided to not include those impressive gloves as part of the uniform).
And now for the B's...
This jersey is heavily inspired by their 1930's threads. The brown and yellow pallet will be back again with class "B" as the crest. The striping was also changed on the B's jersey to be more modernized - the arm striping is different to resemble another jersey the B's wore in the 30's.
Let us know what you think in the comments below! Check back Thursday to see our blog we will post when real things get unveiled.
